Welcome to our awards

I am delighted to once again launch CSI’s annual Product of the Year Awards. This year, I would like to draw your attention to a new category – Best Web TV technology or service. Online video has come in leaps and bounds in the last couple of years (think Joost, Babelgum, Project Kangaroo, Hulu etc) and the technology and business models are beginning to take shape. To this end, while this space is still finding its rightful place in the overall media mix, it is sufficiently mature to warrant recognition. Certainly, there is a wide variety of interesting products in this space and we look forward to receiving and judging the entries.

The awards entry deadline is now closed. The CSI Awards’ ceremony will take place at IBC on Saturday 13th September at 5.30pm in Room A.
